Projects: Meditech Clinical Suite Deployment / Citrix Consulting Services

Rush Oak Park hospital needed to grant their external Clinics access to Meditech and other clinical applications, including time and attendance and Kronos. The Internal Staff needed access to Meditech via mobile stations using the Terminal emulation software on the Wyse Winterms.

IntelliSuite designed a 50-user Citrix system that allows external Clinics HIPAA-compliant access to Meditech via Citrix Web Interface. After the Initial requirements were met, IntelliSuite worked with Rush Oak Park internal staff to configure Wyse Winterms to allow the Nurse mobile units dependable access to Meditech.

With this implementation, authorized employees, external Clinics and physicians are able to gain secure access to all medical applications and information regardless of geographic location.

Rush Oak Park Hospital combines the convenience and personal touch of a community hospital with the technology and expertise of a major university medical center.
