Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare (EMHC) needed a technology firm with expertise to integrate their Citrix infrastructure into a Portal solution without compromising the security of Protected Healthcare Information (PHI). EMHC also desired assistance to increase capacity of their Citrix servers to handle growing remote access needs for doctors and employees.

IntelliSuite leveraged its experience to conduct an audit of EMHC’s security infrastructure, reviewing existing Citrix and IIS servers. IntelliSuite used the information gathered to lock down and harden the environment. IntelliSuite thereafter deployed Citrix Secure Gateway with SSL certificates, and provided guidance necessary to integrate the Citrix Secure Gateway into EMHC portal solution.

In order to assist with the capacity needs, IntelliSuite assessed existing environment and made recommendations for growth. With approval, IntelliSuite installed and configured new Citrix servers in load balanced fashion to add needed capacity.

EMHC needed expertise to improve the performance of its existing Nextgen implementation on Citrix. IntelliSuite reviewed the configuration of the infrastructure and made recommendations that led to performance improvement of the Nextgen system.

IntelliSuite documented the processes for all projects accomplished for EMHC.

IntelliSuite is currently engaged in assisting EMHC to migrate its Windows NT 4.0 domain to Windows 2003 Active Directory.

Elmhurst Memorial Hospital is a well respected healthcare organization in the Western and Northwestern Chicagoland area.

Tools used for this project:  Windows 2003 Server, Citrix Presentation Server 3.0, Citrix Web Interface, Citrix Secure Gateway, and IIS 6.0.
