Project: Epic Clinical Suite Deployment / Citrix Consulting Services

Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center (RUSH) needed a technology provider to design and implement a secure and efficient method to deploy its Epic Clinical Suite of applications for hospital-wide use.

IntelliSuite was selected to help implement a pilot program to showcase the various methods to achieve the objectives. Leveraging Citrix Web Interface and Secure Gateway Services, Intellisuite deployed streamlined options for RUSH to review.

RUSH reviewed the options provided by IntelliSuite and used the information to determine the most secure and efficient means in accordance with its business practice.

RUSH subsequently retained IntelliSuite to execute the production system to support Epic. This implementation, currently in progress, will support development, training, and production use of Epic for hospital-wide use.

RUSH is a renowned healthcare institution in Illinois. The U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Hospitals” ranked 10 Rush programs among the best in the nation.  Rush Orthopedics (#6), Neurology and Neurosurgery (#12) and Kidney Disease (#21) were ranked the top programs in Illinois.

Tools used for this project:  Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory Group Policies, Citrix Presentation Server 3.0, Citrix Web Interface, and Citrix Access Gateway.
