Heart Consultant, PC (HC) is a fifteen-cardiologist, physician-owned group practice. The group was formed in August, 1993 and operates four locations in Nebraska.

HC operates a fairly large computer network with its own resident IT Administrators. With the growth of the practice, HC was interested in a technology provider that can help manage its expanding computer network and infrastructure in a proactive and sustainable manner. HC was also upgrading a critical EMR solution that requires accessibility at all locations without sacrificing performance.

HC selected IntelliSuite because of IntelliSuite’s experience delivering secure access to applications anywhere while maintaining performance of the applications, and for IntelliSuite’s ability to proactively manage computer systems and resolve issues before they become disruptive to the business.

IntelliSuite reviewed HC’s network infrastructure and EMR upgrade requirements and made recommendations in line with HC’s business objectives. With approval of the plan, IntelliSuite used Citrix technology to deliver a streamlined and efficient method for all office locations to access the EMR system.

With a successful implementation, HC retained IntelliSuite to continue to proactively monitor its entire network infrastructure and resolve problems before they become disruptive to the business.

To achieve this objective, IntelliSuite implemented a managed IT services platform to proactively monitor and report on critical systems. This system allows IntelliSuite to resolve issues before they interrupt business. IntelliSuite also provides Help Desk support that complements HC’s internal System Administrator.
