Millman-Derr Center for Eye Care is a five-doctor ophthalmology group that specializes in the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures. The practice currently has two locations in Michigan.

Millman-Derr needed an information technology provider to help streamline its information system; maximize efficiency of its clinical systems; and enhance performance of their GE Centricity clinical system.

With recommendation by another IntelliSuite client, Millman-Derr invited IntelliSuite to assist in achieving its objectives. IntelliSuite reviewed the project needs; developed a scope and approach document with cost analysis; and received approval to execute the project.

IntelliSuite implemented a redundant Citrix Application Server Farm to achieve maximum uptime and deliver higher efficiency for the GE Centricity clinical system; and a redundant storage and backup system to assure high availability.

Millman-Derr subsequently retained IntelliSuite to provide on-going IT services.

IntelliSuite’s on-going managed IT services for Millman-Derr allows IntelliSuite to proactively resolve problems before they disrupt business. IntelliSuite also provides Help Desk support to employees and physicians.
